ASSOCIATE PROJECT ENGINEER (Student)
An Associate Engineer performs many aspects of materials testing; from test design, fabrication, operation of test equipment to set up and system maintenance while under the direction of a supervising engineer.
Department: Laboratory
Reports to: Lab Manager
Contract: Hourly, non-exempt, 15 to 20 hours per week
Workweek: Flexible hours (usually 8am to 5pm weekdays).
Qualifications: Student working on a BS, MS or PhD Degree
Experience: Previous Laboratory experience desirable. Skills in Excel, LabView, MatLab, CAD a plus. General shop and metal fabrication experience desired.
