Properties can include:
Micro-yield testing - Gives an excellent measure of prior microcracking. It uses minimal short-term stresses to determine the stress level needed to impart a permanent or plastic strain of one part per million (microstrain).
Elevated or Cryogenic Temperatures - PMIC has the ability to provide mechanical testing both at elevated and cryogenic temperatures. Testing has been conducted from -253°C (20K) to 300°C (473K). Measurements at higher temperatures are possible, contact PMIC for more details.
Materials include:
PMIC can perform a wide variety of ASTM, ISO, Sacma, Boeing and other test methods.
Common test methods include:
Specimen preparation and multiple strain gage application
